Guecubu
(Guecufü)
   A malicious deity of the Araucanian Indians. The name means ‘the Wanderer Without’ and it is possible that under the dualistic system he may have been the evil twin of Aka-Kanet. All the misfortunes which occur to man are presumed to have been caused by Guecubu.
